  • HSE doesn’t name “Evacuation Chair Training” specifically, but it is covered under employers’ duties in - Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Equality Act 2010 and Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

  • Legal & contextual knowledge, personal emergency evacuation procedures, equipment familiarisation and operation, practical hands on skills, manual handling and safety and additional elements such as record keeping, incident awareness and statistics etc.

  • Certificates generally last 2 years, with recommended refresh each time.

Please Note - Courses usually require a minimum of 8 Learners, this can be amended due to client location, course length and economic viability to deliver and cover costs.
