  • Required for those caring for children (e.g., childminders, nursery staff, early years practitioners). Not governed directly by HSE, but regulated through Ofsted/EYFS and health and safety best practices.

  • Covers emergency planning, initial assessment, basic life support, CPR on infants and children, shock, fractures, bleeding, minor illness and injuries.

    Note: Practical hands-on training with child mannequins is essential; theory-only is not sufficient for competency.

  • Valid for 3 years. Requalification is required before expiry to remain competent . While not legally mandatory, annual refresher training is “strongly recommended” by HSE and EYFS to maintain skills.

Please Note - Courses usually require a minimum of 8 Learners, this can be amended due to client location, course length and economic viability to deliver and cover costs. If you have a need for less than 8 learners, please contact us at info@firstrespondertraining.uk and we will endeavour to meet your training needs where possible.
Courses that require Trainer accommodation may also be subject to an additional fee.
