  • Employers must conduct a first-aid needs assessment considering workplace hazards, workforce size, risks, and patterns of absence (e.g. holidays) to determine if a full FAW-trained First Aider is appropriate .

  • Includes Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) syllabus plus more in-depth training to deal with a variety of injuries and illnesses — such as wounds, burns, choking, shock, anaphylaxis, resuscitation (including AED), spinal injuries, and minor illnesses .

  • Valid for 3 years. Requalification is required before expiry to remain competent . While not legally mandatory, annual refresher training is “strongly recommended” by HSE to maintain skills .

Please Note - Courses are priced as a group of 12 Learners, this can be amended due to client location, course length and economic viability to deliver and cover costs. If you have a need for more or less than 12 learners, please contact us at info@firstrespondertraining.uk and we will endeavour to meet your training needs where possible. 
Courses that require Trainer accommodation may also be subject to an additional fee unless provided by client.
