  • Employers must conduct a first-aid needs assessment considering workplace hazards, workforce size, risks, and patterns of absence (e.g. holidays) to determine if a full FAW-trained First Aider is appropriate .

  • Includes Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) syllabus plus more in-depth training to deal with a variety of injuries and illnesses — such as wounds, burns, choking, shock, anaphylaxis, resuscitation (including AED), spinal injuries, and minor illnesses .

  • Valid for 3 years. Requalification is required before expiry to remain competent . While not legally mandatory, annual refresher training is “strongly recommended” by HSE to maintain skills .

Please Note - Courses usually require a minimum of 8 Learners, this can be amended due to client location, course length and economic viability to deliver and cover costs. If you have a need for less than 8 learners, please contact us at info@firstrespondertraining.uk and we will endeavour to meet your training needs where possible. 
Courses that require Trainer accommodation may also be subject to an additional fee. 
Courses for up to 12 learners are a great way to save money and have more trained and qualified staff in your business.
